KSD301 thermostat is a bimetal mechanical thermostat, which controls the circuit on and off by bending the metal sheet by heat to realize overheat protection. Normally closed contacts are designed to break when the set temperature is reached (e.g. 70°C, 90°C, model number suffix indicated) and reset automatically after cooling. With the features of passive, durable and low cost, it is suitable for -10-280°C environment, widely used in automatic power-off of electric kettle, water dispenser, electric heater and other home appliances, as well as heat dissipation protection of motor and transformer.
KSD301 thermostat is a common bimetal temperature controller, mainly used for equipment overheating protection. Its working principle is based on the physical properties of bimetal: when the temperature changes, the difference in expansion coefficients of the two different metals will cause the metal sheet to bend, thus triggering the contacts to turn on and off. This design is simple, low-cost and highly reliable, so it is widely used in many home appliances and small electrical appliances.
